Naplan Writing Practise Test-

Today as practise for the Naplan test you will be participating in this week, you need to use the following prompt in a NARRATIVE piece of writing.
Remember the format of narrative is to have an introduction where you introduce the characters and setting-set the scene by being descriptive. Remember you need to get your readers hooked in straight away and a great way to do this is to start with dialogue or a question or statement. If I read something like ‘One sunny day….or Last Thursday when it was raining…or One day a long time ago” I shall SCRRRRREEEEAAM!!!..
Then explain your problem and its solution, and think of a way to end it. “DONOT write- “suddenly I woke up and realised it was all a dream!” Be original.
You will have 10 minutes planning time and 40 minutes writing time.
Good luck

…some of the words sounded like a foreign language…
