Maths rotations-What are factors?

What is a FACTOR?
Factors are numbers that divide equally into a larger number. For example, the factors of 24 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 & 24.
How can learning what a factor is help us when working on fractions?
You will be making a factor tree for one of the following numbers. Ensure you find all of the numbers factors.

48 96 150 200 240

You will need to complete your factor tree in your books first. After you have practised in your book, you will be able to design a factor tree by using coloured paper.

Below is a image of a factor tree that you can use to help you structure your own factor tree.
