Another week of inquiry has come and gone. By now you should have completed your mindmap and be well and truly researching about things that make us Australian. Before you get your lunch please answer the follow questions.

  1. Today Harry and I have learnt that the top 11 floors on the Eureka Skydeck are made of gold also a man named Cyril Callister created Vegemite.

    We think we were not successful today because we didn’t get much done.

    Our goal for next week is to get more done.

  2. I learnt that King Edward Edward invented cricket in 13,00. I learnt that that languages spoken in aboriginalis gawa. I learnt that Australia is a sporting nation and a sporting history. I learnt that Aboriginals had houses out of bamboo and sticks. I learnt that that aboriginals came here about 40,000 years ago to live here in Australia.

    Adhieu have learnt today that 5sos was formed in 2011. 1D made them famous by taking them on their world tour.
    Nyalim has learnt that 5sos were YouTube celebrities, posting videos of themselves covering songs from various artists in 2011.
    2. Where you an active learner today? Do you feel successful? Why/why not?
    We think we were active learners today because we were really focused on our work and we were successful because we got of lot of information.
    3. What is your goal for next week?
    To get more information done then we did today.

  4. Piper and I found out that lamingtons were created by an accident when a Frenchman dropped his sponge cake in a dish chocolate and later he put coconut on it to make it more appealing.
    Honey Joys were created by a Queenslander named Joy Allen.
    Uluru is the 25th out of 100 most visited landmark in the world!
    The Twelve Apostles only have eight. It is called that because it represents a common group like Jesus’ apostles.

  5. We have both learnt that Tim tams are Aussie biscuits that slang is spoken I most states all in Australia.
    We both feel successful because we did not waste time we both rote a lot in the time we were researching.
    our goal is to keep up the work so we can present on expo day.

  6. Issac I have leant that their are 18 teams in AFL.
    James. I have leant that aboriginals had eaten plants and seed they also hunted for food.
    Issac I haven`t bean a active learner to day because I wasn`t paying attention to anything.
    James. I have been a active learner today because I was working and paying attention.
    Issac I have a goal for next week is to pay attention.
    James. I have a goal for next week to get my research done.

  7. 1. We learnt about the aboriginal flags meaning.
    Black= the aboriginal people
    Red= the ground and the connection to it
    Yellow= the sun
    We also learnt that the flags are not the same in every state of Australia
    2. We don’t feel we were active learners because we were distracted by others and distracted others as well.
    We don’t think we were successful because we didn’t get enough information in the amount of time we had.
    3. Our goal for next week is to get more information in the amount of time given and not distract others or get distracted

  8. my partner has learnt that the music played in Australia is 42,800,000 and my other partner Jasmine has learnt that timtams are aussie. I think I was successful today with my questions because I wanted to find out the words to waltzing matilda and I did.
